On Friday, May 12th, 2023, we will release a very special project. Bernhard Weiß worked with juvenile offenders, in collaboration with the charitable organization e.V. Lünen, to produce a song and a music video. Bernhard says, 'Since they are not so into rock music, I incorporated the youths' lyrics into a rap song! However, I couldn't resist adding a rocking chorus!' The result is WAS HAST DU MIR ANGETAN (WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!?) in which the young people process their shocking life realities. The symbiosis of rap and rock is really successful, which is why we are supporting the project with a worldwide release.

Behind the band name CHANGING FACES TELL THE TRUTH is a group of young offenders and juveniles. They all wear masks and remain anonymous, without individual names. The rap verses are about their own often sad experiences, fears, fake friends, and the lack of support from their parents. The harshness of the lyrics comes from the band members' candid honesty as they open up and reveal their situation. There are no fixed band members, so new young people take the mic and the stage with each new song. What they have in common is that they have made mistakes in their lives and have been ordered by the court to participate in social group work at the Hilfsverein e.V. Lünen. They all use this second chance to do better in the future and become valuable members of society. They are supported by the Hilfsverein e.V. Lünen, which has made this project possible since 2020.
