Under the banner of the Nils Courbaron's Project, Sirenia guitarist Nils Courbaron has released a new single, "Purple Horizon".
The song was recorded at Vamacara Studio (Sinsaenum, Dagoba, Dropdead Chaos), with artwork by Rusalka Design (Adagio, Fear Factory). Drums were played by Michael Brush (Sirenia, ex-Iron Mask), and orchestrations by Morten Veland (Sirenia, ex-Tristania).
Nils says about this song: "A few weeks ago, I received a very special guitar. The "ESP Horizon III FR Reindeer Blue Custom Shop Nils Courbaron" - my dream guitar. I felt that was a good opportunity to record a new song for my solo project!"
"Purple Horizon" is available for streaming on Spotify, and for purchase on Bandcamp.
A video was also made for this shredding instrumental track, and can be viewed here.
Nils and Sirenia will be on tour with Dynazty and Surma in Europe this month, and the band will play some European festival shows this summer. Furthermore, Nils will be on stage at the Hellfest Open Air with his modern metal band, Dropdead Chaos.
In addition, Nils is working on a new band with international artists from the power metal scene which will be released later this year. Stay tuned.
