REVENANT Demos To Be Reissued

We are excited to announce that XTREEM MUSIC will re-issue "The Burning Ground" by legendary American Death/ Thrash band REVENANT in early 2027! The original 2005 edition compiled the band's demos and a live track recorded during their 1991 European tour. This definitive re-issue, entitled "The Burning Ground 2.0", will be more complete than ever, with plenty of additional material!
It will be released as a 2-CD set, 2-LP vinyl with a gatefold sleeve and full-color insert, a 2-Cassette edition in a special box, digital format, and T-shirts featuring the album artwork. The release will also include extensive liner notes by Henry Veggian and John McEntee, along with explanations of each recording. On top of that, it will feature complete scans of the original demos and EP's, plus tons of period photographs and flyers.
CD 1 will contain the demo recordings from the 1989-1995 lineup that appeared on the previous edition and from which both 7"EP's were taken. But there's another previously unreleased track! Entitled "The New Paganism", this eight-minute monster has been recovered from a good 4-track recording and will finally be included. The band performed it live on a handful of occasions, and fortunately, a couple of good takes from a rehearsal session survived.
CD 2 will feature the complete early demos. And when we say complete, we mean everything, including the previously unreleased, entirely instrumental 1986 demo (yes, it really exists!). The re-issue will contain the 1986, 1987 and 1988 demos in their entirety, with 13 tracks in total, four of them previously unreleased!
