PHIL CAMPBELL'S BASTARD SONS HONOR A LEGEND WITH "CALLING FOR YOU"

A powerful tribute to their late father! The Campbell brothers - Todd, Dane and Tyla - have released a special studio cover of "Calling For You", reaching back to the roots of legendary MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Phil Campbell's career.

Originally released in 1981 by NWOBHM band PERSIAN RISK, the track featured Phil on lead guitar and marked an early chapter in a career that would go on to shape heavy metal history during his 31 years with MOTÖRHEAD.

Following Phil's passing in March 2026, his sons chose to record the song as a heartfelt way to celebrate his legacy and reconnect with the music that helped shape him.

The release also marks a new chapter for PHIL CAMPBELL'S BASTARD SONS, introducing Julian Jenkins (FURY) as the band's new lead vocalist. With Todd's blistering guitar work, the thunderous rhythm section of Dane and Tyla, and Jenkins' powerful debut, this is a tribute with plenty of fire behind it.
