Doug "Dug" Pinnick, legendary bassist, vocalist, songwriter and founding member of KING'S X, will release his new solo album, "Abracadabra", on November 27, 2026 via Rat Pak Records.
Known for his unmistakable voice, thunderous bass work, and deeply personal songwriting, Pinnick continues to push creative boundaries with a collection of songs that blend hard rock, soul, funk, and introspective storytelling.
"Abracadabra" showcases the raw emotion and fearless authenticity that has defined Pinnick's career for more than four decades.
The album features 11 new studio tracks that explore themes of resilience, self-discovery, spirituality, and human connection. Built around Pinnick's signature bass-driven grooves and soaring vocals, the record captures both the power and vulnerability that fans have come to expect from one of rock's most respected voices.
"Abracadabra" track listing:
01. Yes Means Nothing
02. A Better Place
03. It's Just Me And My Shadow
04. Stop Look And Listen
05. Doing What You Are Told
06. And We Do
07. It's All In My Mind
08. All Of The Time

KING'S X released its 13th studio album, "Three Sides Of One", in September 2022. The LP was recorded during 2019 at Black Sound Studio in Pasadena, California with Emmy Award-winning producer Michael Parnin.
KING'S X was sidelined by several health scares in recent years, including Pinnick's two hernia operations and two near-fatal heart attacks suffered by Gaskill. In October 2019, KING'S X canceled all of its previously announced tour dates for the year so that Gaskill could undergo undisclosed heart "procedures."
