Trailblazing guitarist/vocalist Lita Ford has officially signed to Frontiers Music Srl. Ford's upcoming follow-up to 2012's "Living Like A Runaway" was once again helmed by guitarist/producer Gary Hoey, who contributes some guitar playing to the disc.

Lita's new single, "Dracula", will be made available on October 27. The track was produced by Hoey, mixed by Max Norman and was performed by Ford, Hoey and Bobby Rock on drums.

On the signing, Lita shares: "It's been a long journey to create this magical dark fairytale album for everyone to enjoy. I needed the perfect team to make that happen and to help give this powerful record a life it deserves. I am so happy to say I have officially sealed the deal with Frontiers Music Srl, as we are thrilled, excited and ready to rise with the first new single on October 27th, 2026. Good night. Goodbye… Prepare to die 'Dracula'!! Brace yourself."

Jeff Stevenson, GM of Frontiers Label Group, comments: "We are incredibly proud to welcome Lita Ford to the Frontiers Label Group family. Lita is a true rock icon — an artist whose influence, musicianship, and unmistakable attitude have inspired generations of fans and musicians around the world. Beyond her extraordinary legacy, what excites us most is that Lita continues to look forward creatively. We're honored that she has chosen Frontiers for this next chapter, and we can't wait for fans to hear what she has in store."

This past April, Lita told SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk" that her new album was "done. I did a really killer duet with [German metal singer] Doro Pesch. It's great. She nailed it, and the song is fantastic," she said. "So I'm excited for everybody to hear that. And then I did another track with [singer/songwriter/producer] Jean Beauvoir [CROWN OF THORNS, PLASMATICS]. We wrote a great song together. [He's] super talented, and the song is magic. And, of course, Gary Hoey produced it, and there's lots of guitar playing on it and stuff. [Legendary 1980s producer] Max Norman mixed it. So, it's badass."

After "Trunk Nation" host Eddie Trunk noted that "it's been a long time" since Ford's last release, Lita concurred. "It's been a while, but the music industry has changed so much, and I just wanted to put together a great team of people to promote this record," she explained. "I didn't wanna just give it to somebody and hope for the best. I wanted it to be a great team that's gonna support this record. And we got a great team now."

Referencing the way the music industry has changed in the past four decades, Ford added: "It's just different in this day and age. Everything is different. But I'm just grateful that we're still here, we're still rocking, we still have our great fans. And they're ready for some new rock and roll. So we're gonna give it to 'em."

In May 2022, bassist Marten Andersson (STEELHEART, LIZZY BORDEN, LYNCH MOB) officially joined Lita's touring band. Andersson replaced Marty O'Brien who became the touring bassist for DAUGHTRY.

Ford's last release was 2016's "Time Capsule", a collection of songs that were recorded by Lita in the past, but never before made available.
