After hitting #1 on the Official German Album Charts with their self-titled album, the German arena rockers KISSIN' DYNAMITE are ready to deliver another huge moment: “The Big Goodbye - Live” arrives on December 11, 2026!
After their current self-titled studio album KISSIN’ DYNAMITE – the first release on the band’s newly founded label KISSIN’ DYNAMITE RECORDS – shot straight to #1 on the Official German Album Charts in autumn 2026, the arena rockers are already gearing up for their next major surprise.
For THE BIG GOODBYE – LIVE, the five-piece captured their biggest headline production to date in spectacular audio and visual detail on September 19, 2026, in front of more than 5,000 enthusiastic fans at the completely sold-out Ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm. Under its poignant title, the explosive arena show will be released on December 11, 2026, via the band’s own KISSIN’ DYNAMITE RECORDS label as a Blu-ray/DVD/CD edition in a deluxe earbook including a photo book, as well as on limited-edition vinyl. Once again, this marks the second time within a year that the band has answered the resounding demand of their loyal fanbase.
“After I announced my final major farewell shows as the frontman of KISSIN’ DYNAMITE, fans immediately started asking us to capture them for eternity,” recalls frontman Hannes Braun.
Braun had previously announced that he would be stepping down as the band’s frontman for health reasons. For the band’s large following, however, one thing has long been clear: Hannes is saying goodbye to the microphone only – not to KISSIN’ DYNAMITE itself. As the band’s creative mastermind and producer, he will continue to remain an integral part of KISSIN’ DYNAMITE. From 2027 onwards, the band plan to fill the vacant frontman position with a yet-to-be-revealed new member, opening the next chapter in their story.
The THE BIG GOODBYE – Arena Shows 2026, each with capacities of around 4,000 to 5,000 people, were completely sold out well in advance and are set to mark the biggest milestone yet in the band’s almost 20-year history – both for the fans and for the musicians themselves.
THE BIG GOODBYE – LIVE captures this extraordinary moment in a production of truly epic proportions. Using a total of 20 cameras, the spectacular pyrotechnics, theatrical stage design, ecstatic audience and high-energy performance of the five musicians were filmed from virtually every conceivable angle.
Combined with an elaborate audio production, the result is a live experience that blurs the line between the screen and the arena – putting viewers right in the middle of the action rather than simply watching from the sidelines.
