The Phoenix-born hard rock wrecking crew Atomic Kings will unleash their ferocious sophomore album, Too, on October 19th.Too will be available on three formats: CDs, High Quality 180 Gram vinyl, and downloads.
Fans can get the album directly from the band’s brand new official website at www.atomickingsband.com, as well as many other purveyors of quality classic rock.
According to a press release, this ain’t background music. “Too” is pure, sweat-drenched, blues-wired hard rock — the kind they don’t make anymore. Think the swagger and thunder of 70s gods — Free, Bad Company, Grand Funk Railroad, Led Zeppelin, Robin Trower — smashed into the raw, modern fire of Rival Sons and Dirty Honey. It’s dirty. It’s soulful. It’s got riffs for days.
The album features the breakout radio hit “I’m a Mover” and now the band is proud to announce the official music video for the song here.
And holding down the low-end earthquake? The one and only Greg Chaisson.
Legendary. Iconic. The bottom-end beast behind Badlands and Red Dragon Cartel. When Greg plugs in, you don’t just hear it — you FEEL it in your chest. His signature groove is the secret weapon and the soul of Atomic Kings, and on “Too” he is absolutely on fire.
Rounding out this dynamic lineup are:
Ken Ronk – vocals
Ryan McKay – guitar (formerly of Crash City Kids, Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses)
Jimi Taft – drums (formerly of Ragdoll)
Too tracklisting:
“Burning”
“Don’t Say You Love Me”
“Hard Life”
” Alone”
“I’m a Mover”
“Lady J”
“Learn to Fight”
“Save Me”
“They Remain”
