EMBRYONIC AUTOPSY RENEW LONG-TERM DEAL WITH MASSACRE RECORDS

Chicago-based brutal death metal band Embryonic Autopsy have renewed their contract with Massacre Records, continuing their collaboration with the label into the next phase of the band’s career.
Formed in 2021, Embryonic Autopsy set out to revive the style and uncompromising energy that made death metal one of the most powerful underground genres of the early ’90s. Their sound combines blazing guitar riffs, guttural vocals and relentless, lightning-fast drumming. The band features vocalist Tim King, from technical death metal pioneers Oppressor, former Otep guitarist Scott Roberts, bassist Kenxi Dupey and drummer Marco Fimbres.
Embryonic Autopsy made their recorded debut with “Prophecies Of The Conjoined” in February 2022. The album quickly gained recognition within the underground Death Metal scene for its raw energy and old-school approach. It also established the band’s distinctive conceptual universe, centered around theories of extraterrestrial visitation, ancient civilizations and the creation of alien-human hybrids. Guest appearances included Death Metal veterans James Murphy (Death, Obituary) and Terrance Hobbs (Suffocation).
The story continued with “Origins Of The Deformed”, released in June 2024. Expanding on the alien/human hybrid concept of the debut, the album delivered a darker and more extreme lyrical approach while further developing the band’s brutal musical style. Once again, James Murphy and Terrance Hobbs contributed to the record, joined by Jack Owen (Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Six Feet Under), who performed several guest guitar solos.
The trilogy reached its conclusion with “Rise Of The Mutated”, released this year. Completing the narrative established on the previous two albums, the record takes the band’s musical intensity even further, combining heavier and faster riffs with their trademark death metal attack. James Murphy and Terrance Hobbs return to perform guest guitar solos.
“Rise Of The Mutated” was produced and mixed by Scott Roberts and mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Dethklok) at Wilderness Studios in Burbank, California.
Early radio response to “Zombified Infants Of Roswell” has already included airplay in the USA, Spain, Canada and the UK during the first week of its campaign, with further reports expected.
“We have come so far as a band since we first started,” says vocalist Tim King. “Our goal was to do a three-album trilogy based on a widely pondered concept of alien visitation and technology. It’s a concept both myself and guitarist Scott Roberts have been intrigued by for most of our lives. To be able to combine that with the sheer power and intensity of a brutal death metal band has been an awesome experience.”
With the three-album trilogy now complete, the renewed partnership with Massacre Records marks the beginning of a new phase for Embryonic Autopsy. The band’s upcoming live schedule includes an extensive North American tour in February and March 2027 with Nervosa and Castrator. Embryonic Autopsy will perform as direct support for Nervosa on the first ten dates.
