The early years of SAXON are getting an extensive new retrospective with "A's and B's 1979 - 88", a 3-CD compilation gathering the British heavy metal band's classic 7-inch and 12-inch single A-sides and B-sides from their formative Carrere Records era.
Released by BGO Records, the digitally remastered collection is set for official release on November 6, 2026.
Spanning nearly a decade at the height of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, A's and B's 1979-88 brings together UK chart hits, single edits, rare tracks and sought-after flip-side cuts in one comprehensive collection:
