Germany’s CALLEJON To Release New Album In January 2027; “Das Herz Ist Schwer” Single / Video Available

For a quarter of a century, Callejon has stood for German-language metalcore. As pioneers, they pushed genre boundaries, reinvented themselves time and again, and yet remained true to themselves and their unmistakable, signature style. That might sound like a paradox, but it is precisely this constant evolution that fuels their endurance. Callejon has played a defining role in shaping German-language metal, looking back today on over 1,000 concerts and seven consecutive Top 10 placements in the Official German Album Charts.
On January 1, 2027, Callejon will release their eleventh studio album, Das Herz Ist Schwer (translated: The Heart Is Heavy). With this record, Callejon returns to the roots of Beerdigungscafe, absorbing the spirit of their early influences and pouring it all into a refined, fully realized form. It is packed with bursting emotion, whimsically tragic and beautiful lyrics, black humor, and the distinct signature style that makes Callejon one of a kind.
