German medieval rock band Tanzwut released the single “Die Sänger Singen Noch” (“The Singers Still Sing”) on July 17, 2026, through NoCut Entertainment, distributed by SPV. The track is available now on all major streaming platforms and arrives as a special version billed under the collective name “Tanzwut & Freunde.”

For the “Tanzwut & Freunde” version, frontman Teufel is joined by Alea and Elsi of Saltatio Mortis, Eric and Ally of Subway to Sally, Martin of Mono Inc., René of Heldmaschine, Johnny of Soulbound and singer Sotiria. Each of these musicians provides vocals on the track.

The accompanying video was filmed at the Ballhaus Wedding in Berlin. It shows the guest vocalists positioned inside gilded portraits, staged as a visual contrast to digitally generated music. The song addresses the growing role of artificial intelligence in music production and the question of what happens to a track’s identity when a human singer is replaced by a synthetic voice.

In the “About Tanzwut” section of the release notes, Teufel commented on the band’s current direction: “This time, we’ve torn the masks of the minstrels down a bit further. Behind the noise and the spectacle, we’re all in the same boat. The world often feels petrified and we wanted to use the music to make the heart beneath it palpable again.”

“Die Sänger Singen Noch” is the third single from Tanzwut’s upcoming album “Herz aus Stein,” due September 4, 2026, following the title track and “Rosenkrieg.” The album will be released on CD digipak, colored vinyl, a liquid vinyl edition and a limited fan box, alongside all streaming platforms.

The current lineup consists of Teufel on lead vocals, Robin Hund on electric guitar, Der Zwilling on bass guitar, Shumon on drums, Pyro and Manu on bagpipes, and Alexius on keyboard.
