THE IMPLICATE ORDER Announce Debut Single “In Dreams” Feat. LIV KRISTINE; Official Music Video Streaming

Melbourne, Australia-based progressive blackened death metal band, The Implicate Order (TIO), will release their debut single, “In Dreams,” on August 7. The track will be featured on the band’s forthcoming debut record, Blacklight.
“In Dreams” pairs guest vocalist Liv Kristine (Theatre Of Tragedy, Leaves’ Eyes) with mixing and mastering from Dan Swanö — the pair’s first musical collaboration since Theatre Of Tragedy’s self-titled 1995 debut.
Fronted by Travis Neal (ex-Divine Heresy) and written by guitarist Andy Rose (lead guitarist on Edge Of Sanity’s definitive 2025 version of Crimson II), “In Dreams” features beauty and the beast-style vocals (with Neal’s own melodic vocals offering a fresh take on the genre), interweaving violin and guitar melodies with a duelling solo, a unique layered guitar arrangement, and Sean Reinert (Death, Cynic)-styled drums.
Thematically, the song is an epic introspection on the answers to life’s problems offered by dreams. An accompanying cinematic music video offers an embellished visual narrative.
