British metal legends TOKYO BLADE are set to release their brand new studio album "Hoist The Colours High" on August 21, 2026 via Dissonance Productions.
Featuring band mainstays Andy Boulton and Alan Marsh, "Hoist The Colours High" continues a remarkable creative resurgence for TOKYO BLADE, following the acclaimed album "Time Is The Fire" and last year’s extensive 4CD retrospective collection.
Across 14 new tracks, TOKYO BLADE once again demonstrate why they remain one of the most enduring and respected names to emerge from the British metal scene. Combining classic heavy metal power, memorable melodies, and decades of songwriting experience, the band continue to prove that their creative fire burns as strongly as ever.
Formed in 1982 and initially associated with the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement, TOKYO BLADE quickly established their own identity through classic releases such as "Tokyo Blade" and "Night Of The Blade", earning a loyal worldwide following that remains strong to this day.
