Pitter-patter, splinter-splatter, RAVAGED BY THE YETI unleash the monstrous opening track 'Vengeance in Fur' taken from their forthcoming new full-length "Snowbound Horror" as the first advance single in the shape of a gory music video.
The release date of the sophomore full-length by the frost-bitten death metal trio has been set into stone for July 10, 2026.

Beware! The frost-biting beast in white is back and ready to rip heads off. When the "Snowbound Horror" descends from the icy wastes of blizzard-beaten peaks there is no escape. With their sophomore album, RAVAGED BY THE YETI deliver everything that their loyal following was hoping for after the acclaimed debut "Apex Predator" took the death metal world by storm.
"Snowbound Horror" comes with massive riffs ripping from down-tuned strings, uncanny grooves, and captivating songs delivered with dripping gore and blood-red splatter (just take a look at the vinyl edition to know that this is true). The album has everything that old school death metal fans could ask for. Yet the Swedish-English-American trio did not idle since their first release. Sharpening their musical claws and filing their sonic teeth, RAVAGED BY THE YETI simply got bigger and better by offering more of everything that defines their sound.
RAVAGED BY THE YETI return with a new line-up that can be best described as a gathering of friends from both sides of the Atlantic who just love to play old school death metal:
American metal musician Michael "Mike" Borders already pumped his bass in MASSACRE during the cult band's demo years and returned for their revival in the early 2020s. About the same time, Sweden's Mr. Death Metal, guitarist and songwriter Rogga Johansson, had also joined MASSACRE and he brought along British drummer and fellow musician in MONSTROUS, Jon Rudin.
Johansson had originally founded RAVAGED BY THE YETI together with guitarist and vocalist Jonny Pettersson, and drummer Jon Skäre in 2020. The band focussed on old school death metal with a dash of grindcore as well as a loose concept around the mythical Yeti, which they tongue-in-cheek called Neanderthal metal. Archaeogeneticists researching the band now suggest Denisovan metal. Following their widely applauded debut "Apex Predator" (2023), the original line-up fell apart.
As it turns out, writing off RAVAGED BY THE YETI as a 'split band' was premature and news of their demise greatly exaggerated as Johansson gathered a new line-up to bring the mighty creature of ice and snow at the Crown of the World back to life.
With "Snowbound Horror", RAVAGED BY THE YETI live up to their name as this album is a vicious beast that will sink its brutal claws and fangs deep into the heads of death metal fans around the globe. The danger is real, prepare for the irresistible impact of the "Snowbound Horror"!
