DESPISED ICON Wins “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” At 2026 Juno Awards

This past weekend, Canadian deathcore group Despised Icon won the Juno Award for “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” for their first album since 2019, “Shadow Work,” which was released in October of last year, as per theprp. At this 55th annual edition of the awards, the group outperformed efforts from companies like Cryptopsy, Silverstein, Counterparts, and others.

The Beaches defeated the following nominees for this year’s “Rock Album Of The Year” title with “No Hard Feelings.”
