The new album by THE MUGSHOTS "Gloomy, Eerie And Weird" promises to be one of the most eclectic releases of the International scene with its visionary musical landscapes spreading Heavy Metal, Dark Horror, Gothic and Post-Punk from every facet. "Gloomy, Eerie And Weird" is an incredible work for its sound, son of the guitarist Priest's production and Dan Swanö's mind-blowing mastering at Unisound Studio, then for the guests from all over the world who indelibly enrich the album (Mario "The Black" Di Donato with his last recordings, Gaye Advert, Enrico Ruggeri, Andy La Rocque, Sakis Tolis, Jim Mutilator, Trevor Sadist, Fredrik Norrman, Tommy Talamanca), and above all for the characteristics of the journey they do which, between irony and vision, confirms a band with its own identity so unique in the scene to be incomparable. The talented artist Gaye Black realized the cover artwork.

Founded in 2001 by Mickey E.Vil — the project’s sole permanent member and principal songwriter — THE MUGSHOTS have the
distinction of being the first and only European band produced by Dick Wagner, a longtime collaborator of Alice Cooper and Lou Reed. Their
music fuses the raw energy of British punk with the theatricality of dark rock and cinematic horror influences, creating a distinctive,
narratively driven sound. Over the years, THE MUGSHOTS have built a strong international reputation, sharing stages with legends such as
The Stranglers, The Damned, UK Subs, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Goblin and Enrico Ruggeri. Their work has earned support from cult
tastemakers like Rodney Bingenheimer and a personal recommendation from Alice Cooper on his show Nights With Alice Cooper.
The project has collaborated with internationally renowned artists — including Mike Browning (Morbid Angel / Nocturnus), Matt Malley
(Counting Crows), Steve Sylvester (Death SS), Clive Jones (Black Widow) and Mortiis — and have contributed songs to horror soundtracks
for American independent films.
Their new album, "Gloomy, Eerie And Weird", represents the creative pinnacle of THE MUGSHOTS’s journey. Produced by the band’s
guitarist Priest and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio, the record features a host of international guests and further cements the
project’s singular voice. My Kingdom Music will release "Gloomy, Eerie And Weird" in April 2026.
