Singer, songwriter, and producer Edu Falaschi (ex-Angra) officially announces his new studio album, Mi’raj, which closes his fictional, conceptual trilogy. The storyline was developed alongside artist and writer Fábio Caldeira, following Vera Cruz (2021) and Eldorado (2023). The new record serves as the definitive conclusion to the saga built over the last few years, marking one of the most ambitious phases of Falaschi’s solo career, with a release scheduled for June.
Mixing and mastering will be handled by renowned producer Dennis Ward, who also delivered the final sonic polish on Vera Cruz and Eldorado, and is known for landmark work with Helloween, Unisonic, Angra, and more.
The Mi’raj cover art was created by graphic artist Carlos Fides. The concept places a Seer at the center, guardian of the Portal of the Twelve Veils, guiding Jorge across the desert toward inner discovery and spiritual ascension. Between the deep blue of night and the intense gold of day, the image reveals the duality that sustains the entire narrative: light and shadow, good and evil, represented by the armies of the Order of Christ and the Cross of Nero. The light she holds symbolizes knowledge that leads beyond outward conflict.
Four elements shape the journey: the desert earth that tests endurance; water as a source of life and memory; fire that purifies and transforms; and air that guides the spirit. In the sky, the constellation Orion appears as a symbol of ancestral guidance, reminding us that even in the harshest battle, there is always a path for those who know how to look beyond the horizon.
Fans can now secure the Exclusive, Limited Mi’raj Box Set. This special package includes the album in digibook format, an exclusive T-shirt, a personalized mug, a surprise gift, and a set of 12 collectible Mystic Cards. Units are limited.

Set in the year 1519 in Ottoman territories, Mi’raj delivers the final chapter of protagonist Jorge’s journey, amid spiritual conflicts and battles between the Cross of Nero and the Order of Christ.
If Vera Cruz is about discovery and Eldorado is about conquest and ambition, Mi’raj is about revelation and understanding who we are, and what our purpose is after crossing our great inner desert.
Musically, it is the most diverse record in the trilogy. Mi’raj incorporates elements typical of the region’s ethnic musicality such as modal scales, timbres, and atmospheric textures. These characteristics are also strongly present in northeastern Brazilian music, which absorbed Iberian cultural influences and Andalusian elements. All of that is integrated into a solid heavy metal foundation. The album moves between power metal, progressive rock, fusion rock, and contemporary approaches to arranging and production. It’s varied, cinematic, and technically sophisticated, expanding the sonic spectrum introduced on Vera Cruz and Eldorado.
Another standout moment is “Intuição”, the first unreleased song in Portuguese that Edu Falaschi has put out in 24 years—a symbolic milestone within his career and within the trilogy’s narrative itself.
