Testimony Records proudly announce that RAVAGED BY THE YETI have inked a multi-album deal with the label. We gladly welcome these international death metal maniacs to our roster! RAVAGED BY THE YETI will soon release their sophomore full-length via Testimony Records.

RAVAGED BY THE YETI comment: "We are very excited to have been signed by Testimony Records", Rogga Johansson declares on behalf of the band. "The label's work and roster speaks for itself, and we aim to become one of their most appreciated acts. Our new album is simply put a foul groove monster and we can hardly wait to have it released."

Testimony Records state: "We are thrilled to announce the signing of Ravaged by the Yeti", label manager Thomas Strater writes. "They embody old school death metal as much as it gets. Rogga Johansson and Jon Rudin have already performed in many bands, but by teaming up with American bass player Mike Borders they tie in with their shared past in US death legends Massacre. Get ready for more brutal, groovy neanderthal death metal action!"

RAVAGED BY THE YETI are back in a new line-up that can be best described as a gathering of friends from both sides of the Atlantic who just love to play old school death metal:

American metal musician Michael "Mike" Borders had already played the bass in MASSACRE in the cult band's demo years, and returned during their revival in the  early 2020s. At about the same time Sweden's Mr. Death Metal, guitarist and songwriter Rogga Johansson, had also joined MASSACRE and brought along British drummer and fellow musician in MONSTROUS, Jon Rudin.

Johansson had originally founded RAVAGED BY THE YETI alongside guitarist and vocalist Jonny Pettersson and drummer Jon Skäre in 2020. The band was based on old school death metal with a dash of grindcore and a lose concept around the mythical Yeti, which they tongue-in-cheek called Neanderthal metal. Following their well-received debut "Apex Predator" (2023), the original line-up fell apart.

As it turns out, writing off RAVAGED BY THE YETI as 'split' was premature and news of their demise greatly exaggerated as Johansson has gathered a new line-up to bring the mighty creature of ice and snow at the Crown of the World back to life.

At present, RAVAGED BY THE YETI get ready to turn loose their monstrous second album via the label. Watch this space for more exciting news coming soon!
