German based Progressive Power Metal band ETERNITY'S END are currently in the studio to put the finishing touches on their upcoming 4th album titled TITANBLOOD. This album features some line up changes for the band. Returning to the band is keyboard virtuoso Jimmy Pitts who already played on the bands first 2 albums THE FIRE WITHIN and UNYIELDING. New to the fold is the Greek metal vocal powerhouse Mike Livas to bring the new songs to life with his incredible vocal range. TITANBLOOD will contain 9 songs of speedy, technical and catchy power metal anthems with an emphasis on soaring vocals, catchy choruses, technical riffing, neoclassical overtones and over the top solo trade offs, twin leads and harmonies and will be the bands fastest and heaviest album to date. The band are also bringing back some of the more progressive and symphonic elements that were found on the bands first album.
The complete new line up consists of:
Mike Livas – Vocals
Christian Muenzner – Guitars
Justin Hombach – Guitars
Jimmy Pitts – Keyboards
Linus Klausenitzer – Bass
Hannes Grossmann – Drums
The album will once again be mixed and mastered at Mordor Sound studios by the bands drummer Hannes Grossmann. For the choirs the band are assisted by Swedish Power Metal veteran Cederick Forsberg of BLAZON STONE.
Band founder Christian Muenzner comments: „After the release of our last album Embers Of War the future looked a bit uncertain for the band. Everyone got very busy with our other bands and projects and jobs, and sometimes life just gets in the way. But after some time I felt the calling again to write more music in this style, as I feel there is still a lot more to say. Once the writing process started the riffs and melodies were simply flowing, and I am very happy how the new material turned out. These new songs are like a faster, heavier and meaner version of Eternitys End. Our new vocalist Mike Livas is the perfect weapon to bring these crazy songs to life with his incredible vocal range and expressive delivery. From really gritty and powerful metal vocals to Rob Halford type screams to Geoff Tate like soaring vocals, he can do it all, but with his own unmistakeable character and style. This is also the first album where our guitarist Justin Hombach assisted me with the writing on some of the songs. We are very happy to welcome Jimmy Pitts back to the band who in my opinion laid down some of the best solos of his career on this new album. We also want to thank our metal brother Iuri Sanson for his fantastic work on our last 2 albums UNYIELDING and EMBERS OF WAR, who really helped us to bring this band forward and also gave us his blessings for the new line up.“
