SUBSIGNAL ANNOUNCE NEW LINE-UP AND COMEBACK SINGLE

German prog rock visionaries SUBSIGNAL are back! The band have officially announced their new line-up and are ready to usher in a fresh chapter with an exciting comeback single.

Dear friends,
the long wait is over. I can finally share some news about SUBSIGNAL's plans. Arno's departure almost two years ago led to two further lineup changes. Markus Maichel and, most recently, Martijn Horsten left the band for personal and professional reasons.

But now I can present the new SUBSIGNAL lineup. The new singer is Nick Holleman, who some of you may know from his work with bands like Vicious Rumours, Trance, or his own project, Powerized. I'm very happy to have him on board and I'm sure his creativity and energy will take us a long way.

Furthermore, I'm delighted to welcome David Bertok back on keyboards, a member from SUBSIGNAL's early days. David already worked with us again on the 'Poetry of Rain' album. Dave now lives in Los Angeles as a film composer and was recently awarded an Emmy Award.

We're also delighted to welcome back an old friend on bass: Ralf Schwager is back – also an original member of the band and a reliable force for many years.

We'll be releasing a first taste of what's to come on March 4, 2026, with the single 'Hiraeth' via Gentle Art of Music (further info in a seperate post). Work on the new album will follow in the coming months. And after that, we're looking forward to finally going on tour again.
