STARCHASER ANNOUNCES PELLE ÅKERLIND AS NEW DRUMMER

Starchaser are proud to announce Pelle Åkerlind as the band’s new drummer.
Pelle Åkerlind is a highly experienced and respected musician on the Swedish metal scene, currently active in several well-known bands including Morgana Lefay, Axenstar, Visions and Dreams, Trail of Murder, and M.I.D. He is also known for his previous work with Bloodbound. In addition to his metal career, Pelle also collaborates with a wide range of artists, including Mia Karlsson (Crucified Barbara), as well as Nordman and Style, highlighting his versatility as a drummer.
The band would also like to extend a huge thank you to drummer Johan Koleberg for his time, dedication, and contributions to Starchaser. Johan has been an important part of the band’s journey, both musically and personally. Due to increasing time constraints and other commitments, it has unfortunately become difficult for him to continue playing with Starchaser, and the band fully respects and supports this decision.
With Pelle Åkerlind behind the kit, Starchaser are now looking ahead to the next chapter. His experience, power, and musical drive bring new energy to the band as they move forward with renewed focus and ambition.
Starchaser thank Johan Koleberg for everything he has brought to the band and warmly welcome Pelle Åkerlind to the lineup.
