NYTT LAND celebrate the launch of their upcoming Asian Tour 2025 tomorrow with the cover track in tribute to the third opening score 'Shinzou wo Sasageyo!' of one of the globally most popular Japanese manga and anime series of all times "Attack on Titan" (進撃の巨人 – Shingeki no Kyojin "The Advancing Giant(s)").
The post-apocalyptic dark fantasy and horror manga action series "Attack on Titan" was originally written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, and ran from 2009 until 2021. The TV adaption was aired from 2013 until 2023 and at first animated by Wit Studio until MAPPA took over for the final fourth season.
The third opening track 'Shinzō wo Sasageyo!' was originally created by the Japanese band LINKED HORIZON and released in 2017 with the main theme based on their first score for the series 'Guren no Yumiya' (2013). NYTT LAND have respectfully chosen to translate this piece lovingly into their magical Siberian musical language. This digital single comes as a standalone and is not associated with the duo's forthcoming new album "Aba Khan", which is due for release on February 20, 2026.
The visualiser clip 'Shinzo wo Sasageyo!' is now available here.
"The song 'Shinzou wo Sasageyo!' was written as the third opening soundtrack of one of the most famous anime series in history, 'Attack on Titan', and released in May 2017", throat singer and multi-instrumenalist Anatoly Pakhalenko explains. "This series tells a harrowing story about a world living in constant fear and about the heroes who came out to fight it. This feeling of an all permeating fear has become something of a revelation for us. We intent this tribute version as a sign of our great respect for the creators and authors of both the series and this anthem, to which we dedicate this cover from the bottom of our hearts! And although it is a Japanese series, we would also like to see it as a sign of respect towards all of our friends in Asia, whom we hope to meet on tour soon!"
