Disney has confirmed that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will officially close on March 2, 2026, with the final day of operation set for March 1, 2026, reports WDWMagic. This marks the end of the attraction’s long-running Aerosmith era as work ramps up for its transformation into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
Since opening in 1999, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has been a signature thrill ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, known for its high-speed launch, indoor inversions, and rock soundtrack. March 1, 2026 will be the last opportunity for guests to experience the original storyline and music before the attraction closes.
The attraction has already begun transitioning away from its current form. The Aerosmith preshow is permanently unavailable, with the recording studio space blocked off as work begins on the new Muppets preshow.
