SOEN RELEASE HAUNTING NEW SINGLE “DISCORDIA”

Progressive metal visionaries SOEN have unveiled “Discordia,” the evocative third single from their upcoming studio album "Reliance", set for release on January 16, 2026 via Silver Lining Music.
“Discordia” showcases SOEN at their most dynamic - weaving together haunting, intimate passages with crushing, powerful surges. It’s a track that thrives on contrast, exploring emotional tension through shifting textures and moods.
Martin Lopez (founder & drummer) shares: “‘Discordia’ is the result of us pushing ourselves into new sonic and emotional territory. We experimented with darker textures to capture the descent from self-protection into isolation.”
Joel Ekelöf (vocals) adds: “The song lives in that fragile space between wanting connection and building walls to avoid pain. It’s born from vulnerability — and from exploring the uncomfortable corners of our sound.”
