ACCEPT'S PHILIP SHOUSE RELEASES DEBUT SOLO EP “SIDE 1”

After decades backing some of the biggest names in rock, metal, and country, PHILIP SHOUSE steps confidently into the spotlight with his debut EP “Side 1” out February 27, 2026 via Wild Kingdom Records. On this five-track release, Shouse takes on all lead vocals, most backing vocals, and all guitars and bass, proving he’s far more than a world-class sideman.
“Side 1” kicks off with the swaggering one-two punch of “Run Away From You” and “The Naked Empress,” blending STONES-like grit with catchy power-pop hooks. “It Gets Better” channels his BEATLES influence, while “Won’t Let Go Again” and “Time Bomb” deliver dynamic, acoustic-meets-electric rock with classic flair.
Shouse is well-known as a current member of ACCEPT, having joined the legendary German metal band in 2019 and appearing on their albums and global tours. His impressive résumé also includes work with Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, Rodney Atkins, and John Corabi, plus years in Nashville’s iconic THEE ROCK N ROLL RESIDENCY.
