Vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva (The Kovenant, Torn Between Two Worlds) has checked in with a new update:

“As many will know, this year has been incredible for me, one of the biggest defining moments was connecting with Trym Torson, the drummer of Emperor / ex-Enslaved. Our paths had crossed a few times many moons ago, but this year the stars aligned and I ruined his life forever! I was extremely shocked to recieve a text message on my birthday from him and, well, the rest is history.

Last year, Trym released a solo album Saga Of The North. A soundscape album, very Nordic and true to viking roots, it’s the best way I can explain it. This year, I was extremely honoured to add vocals to some of the tracks from Saga Of The North for digital only release. Some are yet to be released, but so far these are ‘Minner’ and ‘Sorgen’. There are two more yet to be released, and a new track, totally independent of Saga Of The North, which will be released soon and we are so proud of.

Saga Of The North is released on Darkness Shall Rise Productions and is highly recommended for any Emperor / movie-styled score / Trym Torson fan.

Of course, I am asking for anyone who supports Bandcamp, to this Friday check out the album, of course, and check out the new vocal versions that were released a few months ago.”

Norwegian black metal legends, Emperor, have announced their 2026 North American tour with special guests, Blood Incantation. The trek is scheduled to kick off in Toronto, ON on March 27, and will wrap up on April 12 in Los Angeles, CA.

Says Emperor: “Emperor Hordes of North America! We are excited to return to Canada and the U.S. in March/ April 2026 with very special guests Blood Incantation.”
