Former MEGADETH Guitarist CHRIS POLAND Confirmed For BLACK WATER SUNSET’s Upcoming DEATH Tribute Album

Black Water Sunset has announced that Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth, OHM) will perform lead guitar across the band’s upcoming full-length tribute album to Death’s The Sound Of Perseverance.
The project brings together an international lineup featuring Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats, Necrophagist, Joe Satriani) on drums and Rich Gray (Annihilator) on fretless bass, with mixing and mastering by Jim Morris of Morrisound Recording, known for his work on Death’s classic catalog.
The tribute aims to faithfully honour Chuck Schuldiner’s compositions while introducing new performances from high-profile musicians connected to progressive and extreme metal.
Black Water Sunset previously released a proof-of-concept cover of “Bite The Pain” (listen here) which drew attention from members of Death’s extended family and fans throughout the metal community. Stay tuned for further details on the tribute album, coming soon.
