Santa handles the nice list - but AIRBOURNE are here for the naughty. The Australian hard rock wildmen have unleashed their first-ever Christmas single, “Xmas Bonus”, and it’s everything you’d expect: loud, dirty, beer-soaked, and absolutely not Mariah Carey-approved.
Packed with cannon-fire drums, electrifying riffs, and Joel O’Keeffe in full sleazy, high-octane glory, this track brings the spirit of AC/DC’s “Mistress for Christmas” roaring into 2025. There’s even a cheeky nod to Die Hard with an unapologetic “Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!”
O’Keeffe shares: “As a kid I hated Christmas carols - I just wanted AC/DC and Black Sabbath. If this song makes someone’s Christmas a bit more rock’n’roll, then I’m happy.”
