NIGHTWISH’s TROY DONOCKLEY Guests On New FOR MY PAIN… Single “Windows Are Weeping”

Finnish gothic metal supergroup, For My Pain…, is approaching the long-awaited release of its new album Buried Blue, set to drop on January 9. Today, the band unveiled “Windows Are Weeping” — the final single before the record arrives — accompanied by a lyric video.
The “Windows Are Weeping” single features very special guest Troy Donockley, the English multi-instrumentalist known from Nightwish, who performs all wind instruments on the track. These include various flutes as well as the Irish uilleann pipes.
“When approached to perform on songs outside of my own projects, I like to hear authenticity. Honest music without commercial desperation always attracts me, and For My Pain… has the history and integrity to tick those boxes, which made it easy for me to contribute. This song did that, and the final result is totally splendid. It has a skyscraping, mountainous, classic rock quality that hits you instantly. Superb stuff lads. Keep going!,” Donockley enthused.
Before the release of Buried Blue, the band already shared the singles “Recoil Into Darkness”, “WitchBitch Elite”, and “Time Will Heal Our Wounds”. In between, fans also received a special standalone single — For My Pain…’s rendition of Tehosekoitin’s legendary Finnish-language hit “Hetken Tie On Kevyt”.
Following the album release, For My Pain… will embark on a Finnish tour — The Buried Blue Tour.
