At just 13 years old, Seattle-based guitarist Vox Realis is already making serious noise in the global guitar and metal world. His single, “Overkill,” out today, features an elite lineup of collaborators: produced by Adair Daufembach (Angra, Megadeth, Kiko Loureiro), with Felipe Andreoli (Angra) on bass, Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) on drums, and Vox himself on guitar.
Despite his age, Vox’s playing channels the technical precision and fire of his heroes such as Marty Friedman, Joe Satriani, and Dimebag Darrell, while forging a sound that’s entirely his own.
“Overkill is more than just a debut—it’s a statement,” says producer Adair Daufembach. “Vox Realis is the rare kind of player who combines feel, speed, and purpose. He’s not just talented for his age—he’s talented, period.”
A familiar name to modern guitar fans, Vox has been featured in Guitar World Magazine as a “young artist to watch.” His growing list of media appearances includes performances and interviews on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Seattle Refined, KING 5, and KEXP Radio, where he first made his radio debut at the age of ten. He has also recorded professionally in Los Angeles and continues to hone his craft under the mentorship of Grammy Award–winning guitarist Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth, Angra).
Beyond the stage and studio, Vox is the creator and host of the viral social series Metal For Breakfast, where his jaw-dropping performances and reinterpretations of iconic solos have earned a fast-growing international audience. His musicianship, charisma, and creative flair have positioned him as one of the most exciting young talents redefining the future of guitar-driven music.
With “Overkill,” Vox Realis steps confidently into his own as a songwriter and front-line artist—merging shredding precision with melodic weight and emotional intensity. Backed by some of metal’s most respected players and produced to the highest standard, the track is a bold announcement: the next generation of guitar hero has arrived.
