Kobra And The Lotus guitarist, Jasio Kulakowski, who released solo singles “Fall” and “Last One Standing” album in 2024, has checked in with the following update:
“I am happy to announce my new record, Fantasy will be released Friday, November 7, released under my own independent label, Spaceleaf Music, and will be available on all major streaming platforms.
It will be available in lossless digital format, and physical copies will be made available in vinyl, limited print tape cassettes, and CD. I will put out more information on how to order the physical products in the near future.
I’ve spent nearly 20 years learning the rules so that I could afford myself a space to break them. This record represents the beginning of a platform for myself to bend genre as I please and work in true, unadulterated artistic freedom. I truly love every second of it. As much as it is a selfish act, it’s the kind of thing I find interesting in ways that extend beyond visible walls and I hope it will inspire others to try new things and to never lose your sense of curiosity when it comes to art and life. If you follow me on this journey, my goal is that it only gets more interesting.
People have been asking me if I will make more heavy / metal music going forward. The answer is yes; I love it and intend to keep contributing to it with a fresh mind. I will have to put out a new project for that, as well. This simply had to happen first. For now, join me in a psychedelic ascent into something dark, beautiful, and full of life with Fantasy.
All songs were written, performed, produced and mixed in-house. I am thankful and filled with gratitude to be able to do this.”
