Former RILEY’S L.A. GUNS frontman KURT FROHLICH is back with his sophomore album “1987,” arriving October 10, 2025 via Golden Robot Records. Following his debut EP “1977,” Frohlich dives deeper into the sounds that defined a generation - blending iconic ’80s-inspired synths with modern, hard-hitting rock energy.

Across 10 tracks, “1987” pays homage to the brooding synth masters of the UK while carving out bold new ground. Retro/modern synth melodies meet crunchy guitars and Frohlich’s powerful, emotive vocals - the result is both infectious and deeply personal. Lyrically, the album explores life and death experiences, anxiety, mental health struggles, love, fear, and resilience, all pulsing with that unmistakable ’80s spirit.
