MASSACRE RECORDS is happy to report that we've joined forces with Fiend Force Records as we have licensed and will release upcoming albums and digital singles from Fiend Force Records bands. The first release will be "Demon Eyes" by The Other, a digital single scheduled to be released on October 27th.
The legendary horror punk label has recently been resurrected, and is now led by original founding member Rod Usher (The Other), Flo V Schwarz (Pyogenesis, Hamburg Records). Argyle Goolsby (Blitzkid, ACWNN Productions) completes the Fiend Force team as a consultant and representative in the US.
Here's what Rod Usher, Flo V. Schwarz and Argyle Goolsby have to say about the resurrection of Fiend Force Records:
"The horror punk genre is currently on fire - maybe due to the reunion of the original Misfits line-up, the album charts entry of THE OTHER last year or new and very active horror punk groups on social media. At the same time, we noticed that the interest in the beginnings of the genre as well as in Fiend Force grew again. There were quite a lot of new and interesting bands formed recently, and we want to make sure that they receive the attention they deserve and support them as best as we can. Fiend Force always was some kind of anchor for the horror punk genre back in the days, and that's exactly what we want to be again." - Rod Usher, The Other
