Musea Records is proud to announce the long-awaited release of “Echoes,” the brand-new album by Japanese composer and keyboardist Tadashi Goto—his first in over 15 years, following the critically acclaimed Innervisions (2008). A deeply personal and emotionally powerful work, Echoes is a 77-minute concept album consisting of 25 tracks, blending Goto’s signature progressive instrumental sound with, for the first time, over 15 vocal tracks. The result is a rich and accessible sonic journey that fuses complex textures with recurring melodic themes. Most songs are around three minutes long, and listeners will notice that the word “echoes” appears frequently throughout the lyrics—serving as both a musical and emotional motif.
At its core, Echoes is a requiem dedicated to the artist’s late father. After years away from recording, Tadashi Goto returns not only as a musician, but as a son seeking closure. His music captures a profound spectrum of emotions—grief, reflection, and ultimately, hope.
