Atmospheric doom/death metal act ILLUSIONS PLAY returns with a gripping new single, “Into Infinity,” marking a bold and introspective chapter in the band's evolving sound. The single, released exclusively on Bandcamp on July 29, is now available worldwide on all major digital platforms.

Blending crushing doom riffs , melancholic melodies , and an evocative mix of clean, growled, and ethereal female vocals , “Into Infinity” is more than a song—it’s a slow, immersive descent into emotional disintegration. Thematically centered on grief, loss, and existential fragmentation, the track invites listeners into a space where time dissolves and only feeling remains .

“We wanted this release to feel like falling slowly into something endless,” the band explains.

“Into Infinity” features a stunning vocal performance by guest singer Damla Topçu (Aydın) , weaving seamlessly with the band’s core vocal dynamic. Musically, it balances glacial riffing , mournful atmosphere , and textured production to create a harrowing sonic landscape.
