Brutal death metal veterans Internal Bleeding have officially announced their seventh studio album, “Settle All Scores,” which will arrive on October 17th via Maggot Stomp. The groove-heavy Long Island outfit handled the production themselves, with Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues, etc.) overseeing additional engineering and mixing.
Though they stop short of naming names, much of the album seems aimed at addressing past grievances. Its newly premiered lead single, “Crown Of Insignificance,” takes direct aim at certain individuals within the scene. Listen to it here. The band commented, “‘Crown Of Insignificance‘ is about a few specific people in the scene. It’s up to you to figure out who we’re talking about.”
Guitarist Chris Pervelis added: “‘Crown Of Insignificance‘ is a great example of how we’ve successfully incorporated dual vocals into our sound. While we experimented with dual vocals on our previous album, we never felt they were fully integrated. This time, however, we believe they are, and we are very pleased with the results.”
As the below track listing notes, a trio of former vocalists for the band make cameos on this forthcoming new record, so you can at least rule them out as suspects.
