Producer Manfred Hertlein announces farewell tour 2026 featuring MICHAEL SCHENKER! Presale starts today, April 2, 2025!
On April 3, 2025, Rock meets Classic 2025 will kick off in Regensburg. Even before the curtain rises on this year’s “Believe In Rock’n’Roll tour”, RmC producer Manfred Hertlein has already announced the dates for next year’s tour. It will be the last one - Rock meets Classic is going on a farewell tour in 2026.
“The great era of classic rock is coming to an end,” says Hertlein. “Even Rock legends grow older, fall ill, or have already passed away. It is becoming increasingly difficult to gather the high-calibre musicians our audience is used to and present them live with their greatest hits. That is why we will host the final RmC tour in 2026.”
The first act has already been confirmed: none other than the exceptional musician MICHAEL SCHENKER (formerly of SCORPIONS and UFO) will bring his Flying V guitar to life, rocking out legendary hits like ‘Doctor Doctor’ and ‘Lights Out’ alongside the RmC orchestra. The farewell tour will begin on April 7, 2026, in Frankfurt and will cover seven of the most successful RmC cities. That means seven chances to experience the grand, one-of-a-kind live spectacle one last time.
The presale for the grand RmC farewell tour starts today, April 2, at 10 AM via
Eventim. Tip: Be sure to grab tickets for this yearÄs tour, which kicks off on April 3, 2025, and features superstars such as special guest Lita Ford (formerly of THE RUNAWAYS), co-headliner Glenn Hughes (formerly of DEEP PURPLE and BLACK SABBATH), and headliner Randall Hall (formerly of LYNYRD SKYNYRD), performing in twelve cities.
One last good piece of news: “We will return in 2027 with an entirely new concept,” promises producer Hertlein. “We are already working hard with our long-time partner Rock Antenne to create something incredible.”
