Molotov Solution’s latest track, Necessary Evil, made its online debut in the lyric video streaming via YouTube here. The returning deathcore band included this song as part of their upcoming EP, Void, set for release on March 21st. The EP features five tracks, four of which have already been unveiled.

“Void” track-list:

01 – “Devour The Children”
02 – “Necessary Evil”
03 – “Stranglehold”
04 – “Mortis Imperium”
05 – “The Golden Tower”

The ‘Void’ EP, Produced, engineered and mixed by Will Putney (Fit For An Autopsy, Thy Art Is Murder, Knocked Loose), cements Molotov Solution’s place at the forefront of devastatingly heavy music. With a sound that’s both deeply rooted in their past and fearlessly looking ahead, the ‘Void‘ EP is the culmination of their brutal trilogy of singles, expanded with brand new tracks designed to shake the very foundations of the genre.

Picking up where their three-track music video saga – “Devour The Children“, “Mortis Imperium” and “The Golden Tower” – left off, “Necessary Evil” is a savage crystallization that sometimes the only way to confront corruption is to become corruption itself.

With punishing grooves, unrelenting riffs, and suffocating heaviness, the track is as relentless as the moral dilemmas it explores. Speaking on the single, vocalist Nick Arthur states:

“With “Necessary Evil,” we return to form with a relentless assault, embodying the brutality of confronting darkness with darkness. Intense riffs, punishing drum grooves, and unyielding heaviness collide to forge a sound both nostalgic and merciless. This track channels the weight of moral compromise in the pursuit of justice, proving that sometimes the only way to destroy evil is to descend into it.

“Necessary Evil” is part of our upcoming EP entitled Void, set for release on 3/21, featuring this track alongside our three previous singles and one more unreleased song. The EP showcases our most intense and unflinching work to date, confronting power, corruption, and the cost of resistance. The artwork, created by Lena Richter, captures the essence of this vision—a haunting blend of occult ritual and big brother surveillance, representing the forces that manipulate and control.”

This is Molotov Solution at their most raw, unfiltered, and unapologetic.

Molotov Solution set the standard for politically charged deathcore with their seminal 2011 album ‘Insurrection’. After a decade-long silence, they returned in 2024 with a vengeance. Now, the VOID EP marks the band’s next evolution. Bigger. Heavier. More dangerous than ever. Molotov Solution continue to blaze a trail and set new standards both sonically and thematically. From the chilling brutality of “Devour The Children” to the apocalyptic storytelling of “The Golden Tower,” the ‘Void‘ EP is Molotov Solution fully realized. A statement of intent – Molotov Solution are not done. The fight is not over.
