SYBREED Premieres New Video for Re-Recorded "Bioactive"

Sybreed , the renowned industrial cyber metal powerhouse, has premiered their latest music video for the re-recorded version of "Bioactive". The track is part of the highly anticipated 2024 reissue of their groundbreaking album Slave Design , which originally established Sybreed as a force to be reckoned with in the industrial metal scene. The re-recorded version of "Bioactive" brings a fresh, modern production to the fan-favorite track while staying true to the band's signature sound—an explosive fusion of crushing riffs, atmospheric synths, and futuristic themes.

Sybreed reissued their 2004 album Slave Design last year (Release Date: October 4th, 2024) featuring a remaster by Jens Bogren, redesigned artwork by Erik Kirchner, and two brand new recordings from 2023 – "Bioactive" and the previously unreleased "System Debaser". The new version of Slave Design is available here, with vinyl coming at a later date.

On the artwork, Kirchner said: "I am beyond thrilled to finally reveal the official cover art I designed for Swiss industrial metal band, Sybreed. In celebration of Slave Design's 20th Anniversary, Drop honored me with the opportunity to reimagine the iconic album's entire artwork.

"His only request was for the original cover concept to remain the same and for the new cover to appear modern and void of human features. The interior album art panels illustrate the potentially bleak future of a human civilization enslaved by its own biomechanical creations. Album panels and prints to be revealed upon album release!!"

Sybreed originally existed between 2003 and 2013. The band released four albums – Slave Design in 2004, Antares in 2007, The Pulse Of Awakening in 2009, and God Is An Automaton in 2012 – before calling it quits.
