Welcome Jan Drummer as another drummer in Mentalist

Two drummers are better than one and we are very happy in the band. 

Thomen: ""Jan is a really cool drummer and person! It's great that he's now taking over the live activities for Mentalist. Welcome on board!" 

Jan: "I am happy to announce that I am now a member of Mentalist. Peter contacted me at the end of last year and asked me if I wanted to join Mentalist. Isaid yes and am currently working on the song material so that I can play live with Mentalist soon.

I am also very proud to play for Mentalist with one of my great idols, Thomen Stauch. The balanced mix of Iron Maiden, Helloween and Blind Guardian, to name just a few influences, is exactly what I like about my personal taste in music.

Rob's brilliant vocals and Peter and Kai's high-quality guitar playing contribute significantly to Mentalist's sound and give the band its own stamp.

We have already rehearsed together and it has worked very well. Stay tuned for tour dates for the new album Earthbreaker.

Jan has been playing drums since he was 12 and has made a very good name for himself in the region.

He has played in several local bands, including the Detah metal band Slaves under machine gods, which he was a co-founder of and which has made a very good name for itself in the region and nationally and has released an EP and album. He was also the drummer in the neoclassical prog metal band Nemesis, with whom he released an album.

He has been a member of several bands over the years.
