We are truly thrilled to present the debut album of Bloody Idol: *The Last Crusader*.
Bloody Idol is a supergroup made up of some of the finest Italian musicians, playing a blend of gothic and epic metal.
This is a concept album that tells the story of a European peasant who leaves his homeland in search of fortune and glory, embarking on a medieval crusade. Through various chapters, his journey unfolds, filled with loss, promises, suffering, and reflection, leading him to madness, where he imagines himself as the last crusader defending the Holy Land. His emotions serve as a metaphor for the feelings of modern man, making the concept timeless and relatable, allowing each listener to see themselves in the story and feel personally involved.
The album was conceived by Joey Mauro, a longtime keyboardist and composer, as well as the keyboardist and composer of the legendary Italian prog band Hunka Munka, who has been active for three decades in pop and rock. The contribution of the musicians involved in the recordings is fundamental:

The vocals are delivered by four different singers:

- Terence Holler (ex-Eldritch, Holler)
- Roberto Tiranti (Labyrinth, Ken Hensley, New Trolls)
- Dario Grillo (Thy Majestie, Platens, Gabriels, Nightblaze)
