Even after 42 steamy, liver-destroying, gut-stretching years in the name of heavy metal, the TANKARD beer train shows no signs of slowing down. Two years after the band's big anniversary and the highly successful "Pavlov's Dawgs" album (which reached number 8 in the official German album charts), the Frankfurt-based veterans are back with re-releases of three classics. From 1996 to 2000, the Hessians released the albums "Kings Of Beer" and "Disco Destroyer" via Century Media, as well as the album "Himbeergeist zum Frühstück" as TANKWART.
On the occasion of the upcoming 25th anniversary of "Kings Of Beer", REAPER ENTERTAINMENT is now giving all three albums a facelift and re-releasing the classics in October remastered and with completely new artwork on vinyl & CD. A bundle box with all three albums will be available exclusively in the label's online store - while stocks last.
TANKARD singer Gerre comments: "Finally our three albums from the Century Media era (1996 - 2000) are available again! Our label Reaper Entertainment has spared no expense and effort to provide the albums with new, classy covers by Kai Brockschmidt and has also remastered them! At least in my collection, the rereleases should definitely not be missing.......in this sense: For once, we toast with the king of beer in the disco with a Himbeergeist"
Alexander Ecker from PEARLSOUND STUDIOS took care of the re-mastering. The redesigned cover artwork was created by Kai Brockschmidt.
