SECRET SPHERE Guitarist Becomes Head of A&R of Europe for Frontiers Music Srl

Frontiers Label Group announced Aldo Lonobile has been named Head of A&R of Europe for the Italian rock and metal label, home to such artists as Journey, YES, Def Leppard, ELO and other leading artists within those genres.

Aldo Lonobile is a seasoned musician, songwriter, and music producer boasting over 20 years of experience across various genres, with a particular focus on Heavy Metal. Throughout his career, he has recorded over 30 albums and embarked on extensive tours with his own power metal band, Secret Sphere. Additionally, as a producer for Frontiers Records Srl, he has contributed to the success of numerous albums, including Geoff Tate's Sweet Oblivion (formerly of Queensrÿche), Archon Angel featuring Zak Stevens (known for his work with Savatage and Circle II Circle), Timo Tolkki's Avalon, Ring Of Fire featuring Mark Boals (previously with Yngwie Malmsteen), among many others.

Now he will take the lead in the label’s A&R vision for Europe.

Lonobile’s hiring comes as Frontiers comes off a superb year for the label in 2023 where they accrued over 275M total audio streams, combined physical sales of over 300K units and even a #1 Billboard chart debut with Night Ranger’s “40 Years and Night (with the CYO)” on the Contemporary Classical Chart. After a strong start in 2024, the label will finish the year with a loaded release schedule including new albums from Eclipse, Blue Oyster Cult, Mr. Big, Stryper, and Jon Anderson & The Band Geeks.
