Letter from Greg Turley - Bass (Pentagram)
Dear Fans & Friends,
All good things must come to an end. For me, now is the time for change. It's been an unbelievable ride!
It's been an honor and a privilege to have performed and traveled the world with this band, playing to thousands of people - without fail, for 14 years! It's a band that I grew up with and music that I believed in. I’ve had the opportunity to play with some great musicians, write songs, record albums and make videos along the way.
I've approached this band (and the business behind it) with enthusiasm, honesty and integrity to the best of my ability. I truly appreciate all those who were involved, I appreciate the challenges as well. I’m simply thankful for the opportunity.
With all that being said, the band is only a small portion of who I am. I’ve got an incredibly supportive wife of 32 years, two great sons, a successful business of 23 years and truthfully, I’m just happy.
My last two shows will be In Oslo, Norway and Berlin, Germany at the end of May. If you're there, come up and say hello! Then, on to the next chapter. Looking forward to continuing to play, write and record new music. If you dig songs like "8", Curious Volume, and Devils Playground. Please stay tuned, there is more to come.
I've met some great people and have developed friendships that will last a lifetime, there is no way to mention everyone here but extra special thanks to: The Turley family! Victor Griffin, Pete Campbell, Matt Goldsborough, Bobby Liebling, Ryan Manning, Klaus Koschel, Joe Schuerger, Sean Saley, Albert Born, Tim Tomaselli, Zach Ohler, Erik Jarvis, All the Promoters, Bands we’ve played with, vendors I worked with, friends and fans all over the world.
Any questions, concerns or small talk, feel free to reach out and ask me directly, either through email or DM. I can be reached via email: Greg@EVO-Productions.com
'till next time. Thanks! ~ Greg
Statement from Bobby Liebling.
Greg has been an integral part of Pentagram since 1993 and full-time tour manager, bass player, song writer and partner since 2010. We would not be where we are without his dedication, hard work and love for the band. He's family and I'll be forever grateful for the time together. I Sincerely, and lovingly, wish him, and his family, all the best in life going forward!! It’s been a wild ride, brother !!! My best; and hit a homerun.
Love, Bobby !
