THY CATAFALQUE Release Cover Of OMEGA's "Babylon"

THY CATAFALQUE treads upon the path less traveled yet again, unveiling an intriguing twist in their latest creation with the release of a brand-new single Babylon. The avant-garde metal powerhouse, lead by Tamás Kátai, resurrects the energy of the classic Hungarian space rock band Omega. A track originally crafted in the '80s, THY CATAFALQUE has spun the track in a new, fresh way. Listen to it here.

"I had recorded the song years ago for fun in instrumental form but during the process of recording the next album the idea popped up to finish it with vocals and so we did. The song isn't connected musically or lyrically with the next album. Instead, think of it as a bonus song between records." Tamás says about Babylon.

Later in 2024, THY CATAFALQUE will be releasing their next full-length studio album, details to follow at a later date.

THY CATAFALQUE will be touring the European mainland starting Friday.
