NICKELBACK has been forced to cancel all remaining dates for the 2015 "No Fixed Address" world tour due to an extended period of vocal rest ordered for singer Chad Kroeger, who recently underwent surgery on his voice box. The band states: "We are sorry to miss our fans out on the road this fall, but Chad's health, healing and full recovery are what is most important right now."
Back in June, Kroeger was diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box, forcing the cancelation of less than two dozen shows. The singer stated at the time: "I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans. I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible."
NICKELBACK is expected to return to North America in 2016.
NICKELBACK's latest album, "No Fixed Address", sold around 80,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores on November 17, 2014.
The 11-song set is the first through the Canadian act's new deal with Republic Records.
