TREES OF ETERNITY was nominated as one of the best metal newcomers of the year in 2016 with debut album "Hour Of The Nightingale".

Since the passing of vocalist Aleah, the future of the band has been uncertain. Today Juha Raivio issued this update about using more of Aleah's lyrics for a future release:

"I finally got my own copy of the TREES OF ETERNITY album. There is no words to tell how proud and painful it feels to hold this album in my hands.. To get this album out has been one of the few reasons to wake up in the morning, and once more I want to thank everyone who have been part on making and releasing this album.

"And thank you from the very depths of my heart to all of you who have bought the album so far, shared the music and have send your love and support. It’s been heartfelt to read the messages and stories what these songs and words have meant to so many people around the world.

"Just to let you know now, I have been working on Aleah’s words and poems during this blackest of winters and hopefully I can let you know more about this very soon. I'm very proud of it. And yes I am also working on Aleah’s solo album slowly and will continue with it as soon as I just emotionally and personally can. I won't let you down.

"Thank you everyone who loved and loves Aleah. Keep on carrying the flame of our Queen Nightingale."
