Their latest offering »Revelation« will turn just one year old on February 24, and SIENA ROOT‘s creative wheel keeps turning eagerly. The band’s 2011 live album »Root Jam« is considered as their purest essence by many fans, and after experiencing a couple of changes over the years, the current line-up seems to be set to herald the start of a more vital and long-living chapter: A more than worthy reason to finally deliver a follow-up to the aforementioned record.
SIENA ROOT explain: “Make sure to be part of our next live album! The show will be recorded live and this is your chance to be on the record together with the band. In classic SIENA ROOT manner, the concert will be recorded analogously on tape, capturing the moment for what it is, a musical footprint which will stand. For this special occasion, we will perform at our beloved KuBa in Jena [Germany] where we have experienced countless memorable concerts throughout the years. On top of that, we will bring spectacular guest musicians on stage to make the musical journey of this very special night even more captivating. This will be a night you don’t want to miss out, it will truly be a rare occasion as we swear by the analogue ways of capturing sound which have been used on all our records so far. A pure analogue live recording is something very rare in these days and we’d dare to say that no other bands pull something like this off nowadays!”
To “warm-up” for this historic event, the group have recently announced four shows in Poland, and in addition, they have been added to a few more summer festival line-ups.
