In 1988, the band caught the attention of Virgin Records in Los Angeles, leading to a significant record deal that would shape their future.
In 1989, Swedish Erotica unveiled their self-titled debut album, produced by Ole Evenrude. The release garnered widespread critical acclaim and remains hailed as one of the genre's finest offerings to this day. The album's unforgettable tracks, including the hit singles "Rock'n'Roll City," "Wild, young and Free," and "Hollywood Dreams," dominated the airwaves and music video channels, spinning wildly across MTV during a time when the network was dedicated to showcasing music videos.
Now, after years of fervent demands and relentless inquiries from dedicated fans, Swedish Erotica is set to take the stage once again. The reunion show will feature original guitarists Magnus Axx & Morgan Le Fay + powerhouse lead singer Mats Levén. When asked about the long-awaited comeback, the band members expressed their excitement and gratitude, emphasizing that the Sweden Rock Festival serves as the perfect venue for their reunion show.
